(Religion) A Book You Need to Read

Wow!  I just got done reading a great book that everybody should read.  It's called God's Smuggler, written with Brother Andrew.  It's the biography of a man who was unsaved with no hope.  But God grabbed him from his despair and saved him.  This man went on to do extraordinary things for the Kingdom, all at the leading of the Holy Spirit.  Many times, he simply realized that it's not through his own power that he is doing all these things, but only by the grace of God and His power and Perfect Plan.

I'm not going to give the plot away, so I'll stop now.  But I do want to encourage you to read it.  It's the true and living testimony of a man who lives his life completely by faith and the leading of the Holy Spirit.  There are many great truths to live by and I was so encouraged to read it.  Plus, it's a really great Missionary Story - answering the call to Missions.

It was so timely because I picked this book up the week before our pastor at church was talking about being a risk-taker for God (but not risky - that is doing something stupid without God's leading).  It just gets a person excited about what he or she can and should be accomplishing for God.
