Sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything. As you can imagine, our life has been a bit crazy. Plus, getting pictures off the camera has proven to be a difficult task!
Things have been going better. We started with lots of tantrums and fear. After 9 weeks, we have a lot fewer of those, and more happy and comfortable times. Everyone seems to be settling in, and we are just trying to adjust to being a family with 5 children!
The newest additi

ons love to help with the chores, and do really well playing with the other kids. They really like riding on the 4-wheeler, going in the car, riding bicycles, playing with the kitties, and playing with play-doh (among other things). They are getting more acclimated to our schedule and lifestyle, and are starting to speak some english. I think they understand more than they may speak right now, but we'll get there. But I can tell you that every single one of our children speaks Creole, and they have great conversations with each other. Too funny. I'm trying to get to where all of my children speak and understand the English language, and I can't get any of them to speak English consistently! Even the baby says, "sa?" for "this?", or "priye" for "pray" (to me)! Or, my BIO 4-year-old, I have to say, will you just speak English?? and he says, "I don't know how". WHAT? Then, my 7 and 4-year-old bio kids are also learning Spanish. So at the table one night, with all 5 kids sitting at the table I hear, "Hola" from the oldest, and 4 echoing voices saying "Hola!" Then she says, "Hello", and 4 voices, "Hello!", then "Bonjou" and 4 voices "Bonjou!" Crazy in our household I tell you. Not sure I'll be able to get through unscathed!
