(Adoption) Happy News!

We found out today from our caseworker, Sara, that our Haitian kids' birthmom showed up for the interview and signed the document she was supposed to!  Woo-hoo!  She also said that the Haitian government won't be requiring DNA (which has been holding some families up at the end for many more months).  Now it's just getting out of MOI, which sounds like it could be any day.  After that is passport, visa and medical, each of which normally takes 1-3 weeks (although lately each of those has been taking months).  So we are praying for these things to fall into place at the Lord's Will and timing.

I want to thank each and every one of you who have been partnering in prayer with us.  Your prayers are and have been crucial during this time.  We continue to need God's gracious guidance and wisdom in parenting, patience, and faith.  We ask that He will continue to show the path that He would have us travel, and not our own selfish desires.  And we thank Him for all the richness and goodness and grace He's shown us (over, and over, and over again - we seem to be slow learners sometimes!!)
