Our file has been in Haiti for 17 months now, and we are still waiting. We are so excited to get our cuties home, knowing they are growing older while they're waiting. When we saw their picture, our sweetie girl had just turned 5, and our handsome boy had just turned 3. Now, they are 6 and 4, and will 7 & 5 in June '09. We pray they will be home long before then!
We last heard we would be out of stage 4 (Ministry of the Interior) about 3 weeks ago. So far, no word on our progress in that office. The kids' birthmom is scheduled to go to her final interview next Tuesday, December 9. We pray she will show up and sign the papers she is to sign. We would love to meet her someday. Hopefully the Lord has that in His plan. We want to personally thank her for her special gift to us, and to let her know we will love and care for them. We are just so excited to add them to our family.
